Making Headlines

Welcome to Guerrilla Green, a sustainability showdown directly empowering youth to green their schools. This challenge is for high school students across the U.S. to improve their school buildings, outdoor spaces, and/or activities. We are directly investing* over $30,000 in the direct actions of students. Our goal is to support those who are frustrated with the lack of sustainable transformation taking place at schools and are willing to take this challenge head on.

Using a ‘March Madness’ bracket system, we are pitting school teams against each other to turn a great idea into a solution that can be scaled throughout the campus. There are three rounds; the elite eight (best plan), the final four (best implemented project) and overall winner (best scaled project)

An online jury of sustainability and youth empowerment experts will review ideas and select the “final four” and overall winner.
